Hi everyone! I am Mrs. Blackmon and I am the substitute for Mrs. Wheeler. I received a Bachelor of Science of Degree from Baylor University. I hold certificates in grades Early Childhood-grade 12. I am certified in Reading, Special Education and ESL. I have worked in four school districts in Texas: Garland, Mt. Enterprise, North Lamar and Paris. I retired in May 2023 after completing 29 years of teaching. I am married to Henry and we live in the Novice Community which is North of Paris. I have two adult children. I am very glad that I could step in for Mrs. Wheeler. It will take me a little bit to get use to Third Grade but I know that we will have a fabulous rest of the school year. I love Justiss Elementary and I have been so very impressed by the administration, teachers, staff and mostly the kids. Please be patient as I learn the routines of daily life in Third Grade!
