Mt. SAC Business Day
In the beautifully renovated CTE buildings, Mt. SAC’s Business Division invited ten local high schools to attend their annual CTE High School Open House on Friday, February 2, 2024.
Mrs. Taylor accompanied eight RHS students to attend two different sessions of interest where they chose to explore the Child Development Center, which hosts on-site infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and either Culinary or Computer sessions. It was a new experience for many as they had not yet set foot on Mt. SAC’s college campus and could enjoy a Chick-fil-A lunch provided by them.
Rowland Interact and ELIM Food Pantry partnership
On February 3rd and 17th, Rowland's Interact Club students traveled to the ELIM Food Pantry to help feed the hungry and displaced. This is only the beginning of a new community partnership for Interact members, as we plan to send Rowland volunteers every two weeks. If you'd like to participate in this new service opportunity, visit @rowlandinteract on Instagram to stay updated!
