Mr. Copeland and the band students worked incredibly hard to provide a moving and energetic concert for all in attendance. We look forward to more wonderful music from our band under Mr. Copeland's leadership.
We have several important events this week at PCHS:
Monday - Cheerleading tryouts for Varisty and JV Fall cheerleading will take place in the gym after school. The athletic booster club will meet in the media center at 6 PM.
Tuesday - Softball travels to Pamlico for their 3rd round playoff game. Baseball hosts Northside in a 3rd round playoff matchup and cheer tryouts will take place again in the gym after school.

Looking ahead at the school calendar, we only have 14 instructional days before final exams. Students get any missing work done now and start to review and prepare for those final exams as we near the end of the school year. We have lots to do and a short time to do it. Some important dates to put on your calendar for the rest of the school year include:
May 30 - Memorial Day - No school on this date
May 31st - Athletic Awards Banquet
June 1st - Baccalaureate Service
June 6-10 - Final Exams
June 8th - Graduation practice at 1:30 on the football field. Tickets for graduation will be handed out to all Seniors at the end of practice so attendance is required.
