Principal's Message
Greetings Washington Families,
During this season, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude! Our students are amazing, each with their unique talents that make our school special. A big shoutout to our hardworking staff for their dedication to supporting our students. Huge thanks to our parent community and PTA for being fantastic partners. We're thankful for this wonderful community! As a reminder, there is no school for students or staff from November 22-24, 2023. We look forward to having everyone back on Monday, November 27!
Let's make it a great week at 1000 Fayetteville Street!
Magically,
Catie Burnette
Principal

We have raised $13,231.47!
We are currently at for Shining Star! We are only $6,768.53 away from meeting our goal of $20,000....Any amount helps!! We are SO CLOSE to meeting our BIG GOAL and so close to Ms. Ratley and Ms. Burnette being PIED IN THE FACE! 😅
Our next mini-goal is $14, 000 and when we reach that goal, Ms. Ratley and I will get PIED IN THE FACE!! We are only $768.53 away from meeting that goal!
Did you know that Arts & Letters Night is made possible by our PTA's Shining Star Fundraiser? Each year, PTA is able to host events for both students and families with funds from their annual Shining Star Fundraiser. Your donations will help PTA continue to hold these events for years to come!
Donating is easy! Students can bring their donation to school in an envelope or baggie with their name on it and grown ups can contribute online or send cash/check (made out to Washington GT PTA) to school.
ANY AMOUNT MAKES A DIFFERENCE. Don’t forget to check if your company will match. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at wesgtpta@gmail.com. 100% of your donation goes directly back into school programs and needs.
THANK YOU! Together, we can make this fundraiser shine brighter than ever!
Ms. Burnette & Ms. Ratley will get pied in the face when we raise $14,000!
