Welcome back HHES students and families for the 2021-2022 school year! We hope everyone had a wonderful summer. We are looking forward to seeing everyone's smiling faces for the first day of school!

We are looking forward to having as normal of a year as possible for our students, families, and staff while we continue to practice safety protocols. We have installed hospital grade air filters, we continue to practice social distancing, preform frequent sanitizing, and per the Governor's order, all people on our campus will be required to wear masks.

We are looking forward to working together with all of you to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all.

Please don't forget to bring your Parent Pick-Up (PPU) number with you when pick-up your child after school. If you don't have a PPU number, one will be assigned to you on the first day. Having these numbers visible helps us excuse students quickly and efficiently.

We are looking forward to offering the opportunity to volunteer in our school this year. We will have safety protocols in place for all volunteers at our school.

Volunteers will be required to do the following:

• Wear a mask
• Check-in at front office
• Temperature check
• Complete attestation form
• Sanitize hands frequently
• Sanitize work station when complete
• Go directly to one specific location and return
• Be cleared from District Office to volunteer

Spirit Week

All students will be proficient in reading by the end of second grade and maintain proficiency until the end of fifth grade, because we believe reading is the key for all students to achieve their dreams.
