Please help your child stay well this year by teaching proper hand washing at home and encouraging your child to wash their hands often. Remember that when students are not here, they cannot learn and we need all of our Crockett Roos here every day, all day! Thank you for your help and support!

Your child’s safety is the number one priority to the faculty and staff at Crockett. We strive to 'teach, challenge, and inspire each student in a safe, nurturing environment to succeed in the global community.' In order to safely dismiss almost 500 students each day, we will be implementing a new process. Beginning Monday, December 2nd students may not be checked out later than 3:00 PM each day. If you need to pick up your child early, we ask that you arrive before 3:00 PM. This process will help ensure that staff knows how each student will get home on that particular day. The partnership between home and school is vital in the success of our students and we thank you in advance for your cooperation as we ensure the safety of all students.

Kindergarten: 10:30-11:00

First Grade: 10:50-11:20

Second Grade: 11:30-12:00

Third Grade: 11:45-12:15

Fourth Grade: 12:10-12:40

Fifth Grade: 12:40-1:10

Bell Schedule

Doors Open- 7:00

First Bell Rings- 7:40

Tardy Bell Rings- 7:50

Dismissal Bell Rings- 3:20

Kanga Care is a partnership between Weatherford ISD and Parker County Hospital District Outreach Program to provide medical care onsite at each campus. Through the use of telemedicine and the MedPod Medical Cart, the healthcare needs of both staff and students can be met in a convenient setting with each campus nurse.

Kanga Care is a minor care center.

We treat minor issues that include but are not limited to:

Fever

Sore throat

Rashes

Allergies

Ear pain

Eye infections (pink eye)

Flu-like illnesses

Diagnostic laboratory procedures available include:

blood glucose level

streptococcal pharyngitis

mononucleosis

influenza A and B

All students enrolled at WISD are eligible for treatment at Kanga Care. There is no charge for Kanga Care.
