Girls Tennis Hacienda League Finals - DBHS Finishes in 1st Place!
On Wednesday, October 27, the Hacienda League individual league tennis finals culminated with a big win for the Brahmas! Senior Laura Gao and junior Chloe Cadelina finished in first place with a score of 6-1, 6-1 in the finals.
Yesterday, sophomore Jasmine Buenafe and senior Julienne Nguyen played in the first round against the number one seed, splitting sets to ultimately finish 8-10 in a tiebreaker. It was a seriously impressive first-round match despite the final result. Singles players Emily Tsao and Grace Lu also completed the first round of play with a solid effort and Brahma spirit.
Thank you to all the teachers who continue to support our athletes in the classroom - we couldn't do this without you. Please congratulate your students on a job well done if you see them!
