All third grade classrooms in the district get a turn with robotics. Kits are delivered to the schools and students build and program their robots, followed by a jamboree at the Evergreen museum.

Good luck to Mac High’s robotics teams, which head out this weekend to compete in the qualifying tournament this Sunday in Hillsboro for the FIRST Tech Challenge!

As students get older, good attendance continues to have a strong connection to school success. Did you know that by ninth grade, attendance is a better predictor of graduation rates than test scores? If your student misses a lot of school, they may be losing interest because of bullying, struggles with school work or other difficulties.
