ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT - Week of February 19, 2023
HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS
BOYS AND GIRLS SWIMMING
BOYS VARSITY BASKETBALL
Boys basketball picked up right where they left off after winning the CAL title last weekend. The boys won two hard fought playoff games this week. On Tuesday the boys defeated Millville 69-48,and last night (2/23) they defeated local rival ACIT 64-47. The team will host Cherry Hill East Saturday night at 7:30 pm in the South Jersey semifinals.
GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL
2/21
EHT girls' basketball defeated Toms River East 51-38 in the first round of the playoffs. It was the program's first playoff win since the 2011-2012 season. EHT was led in scoring by Averie Harding who scored a game high 23 points.
2/23
EHT lost to top seeded Shawnee 22-45 in the second round of the playoffs. EHT finished the season with a 14-13 record.
GIRLS INDOOR TRACK
WRESTLING
This past weekend, the wrestlers participated in the District Tournament. The following athletes will move on to regions and states this weekend. Come on out and support our wrestlers this Friday and Saturday. Best of luck to all of our wrestlers!!
