We are enjoying the time we are able to be outside, especially at interval and lunchtimes. The sandpit is a real hit and it is fabulous to see so many children of all ages having fun with this fabulous addition to the newly built pirate ship.
We are please to share the shade sails will be going over this area in the next week or two as are the shade sails over the back playground, all just in time for the increasingly sunny days. Please do remember our non-negotiables with regards to hats though.
- Cool kids with hats can play in the sun - everyone else is in the shade
- Cool kids with helmets can use their various bikes, scooters and skates - everyone else are on foot.
Congratulations

IPS Athlectics Day (Ages 8-13)
Next week is IPS Athletics Day (ages 8 - 13). We are heading down to the TET Stadium in Inglewood on Tuesday 3rd November first thing in the morning to compete in all of the track and field events. Children will be competing in the age that they will be at on the 31st December 2020. Parents are welcome to come and watch but if you could stay on the outside of the field that would be much appreciated. We will be starting at 9.45 and will be back at school by 3pm.
If any parents who may have some experience with any of the events would like to volunteer on this day please contact Tracy White.
All children will need sunscreen on, plenty of lunch and water bottles as it will be a long day.

Kelly Sports
Looking for something to do with your child from 4.30pm-6.30pm for the next 8 weeks. Bring a picnic mat, have a natter with other adults, while your child comes and plays! If you have a 5 - 12 year old - let them come and have a play in the park! We will have all sorts of equipment out that they can come and have a go with.
You just need to sign your child in, sit back and watch from your picnic mat while our Kelly Sports Taranaki coaches have gear available to play with. We really look forward to seeing you there!
