Drop Off Zone Reminders
*All cars should pull forward as far as possible, at all times.
*All drivers need to remain in the vehicle and students can only exit from the passenger side.
*If your child needs assistance getting in and out of the car and/or buckling seatbelts, please park in our lot or in the church across the street.
*Cars can not park in the loading zone and remain unattended during school hours.
Lockdown Drill
On Monday, January 24th we have a scheduled practice hard lockdown drill with the Arlington Heights Police Department.
As a reminder, each school year in collaboration with the Arlington Heights Police and Fire Departments, we administer a lockdown drill, evacuation drills, and a shelter-in-place drill. In addition to these practice drills, we practice routine emergency procedures school-wide throughout the year, for instance, what we do if there is an emergency during lunch, outside at recess, in the hallway, or if students are in the washroom.
We understand practicing these types of routines may cause stress and anxiety in some of our students. Our staff is mindful to make sure students understand these are practice drills and that they are safe.
If you have questions regarding these safety procedures, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. As always, our goal is to prepare and care for your child in every situation while at school.

Upcoming Dates
February 14th - Valentines Day Parties
Classroom Valentine's Day parties will be held on Monday, February 14. If your child will be passing out Valentine's Day cards to other students, the cards cannot have any candy or food attached to them per the district's wellness policy. Items such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc. are great alternatives as long as they are not edible. Goodie bags filled with treats or candy are also not permitted. PTA room reps. and classroom teachers will be sending out additional information about the parties soon. We greatly appreciate our room reps. and all of our volunteers who organize and provide fun Valentine's Day experiences for our students.
