To highlight some notable items...



  • We are closely monitoring the weather forecast for our Promotion Ceremony this week. Should there be any changes to our original plans (information included below), we will communicate this by mid-day Wednesday, June 14th.


  • 8th Grade Chromebook Collection: will take place in school on Tuesday, June 13th. All 8th graders MUST return their Chromebook, Case, and Charger.


  • ANY student that still has a Library Book checked out from the LVMS Library MUST return it by Wednesday, June 14th!

Highlights from Last Week

We Are PANTHERS: Please CLICK HERE see information from Mr. Ippolito on our Portrait of a Panther project that has be a yearlong community effort to identify the 'portrait' of LVMS students.


5TH GRADE PICNIC AT LVMS: CLICK HERE to see some clips / images of the 5th Grade Picnic held at LVMS last week. Footage was shot on the new drone that was funded by a LVMS PTA Grant!


8TH GRADE TRIP: Our 8th Grade Trip was a success! Thank you to all of our students and staff members that attended. See below for a few images!


PTA DANCE: Thank you to our LVMS PTA for hosting a successful end of year 8th Grade Dance! In addition to the dance, 8th Graders enjoyed "Graduates Day" with a BBQ, Yearbook Signing, and a fun afternoon participating in a game show event. See below for a few images!

FALL 2023 SPORTS INFORMATION: Attention all students interested in participating in Fall 2023 Sports! The deadline to submit paperwork for participation in Fall 2023 Sports is Friday, August 18th. Please CLICK HERE for more information or see section below!


LOST AND FOUND: Our Lost & Found bin, found in the LVMS front vestibule, is OVERFLOWING! Please check for sweatshirts, jackets, water bottles, lunch boxes, etc. Be aware! Unclaimed items will be donated at the conclusion of the school year!


CHROMEBOOK SUMMER RULES: Please see important information below from the WTSchools Tech Department on student expectations (Grade 6 & 7) for keeping Chromebooks over the summer (information included below!)

Summer ChromeBook Info

Attention 8th Grade Students and Families!

CHROMEBOOK COLLECTION - TUES. JUNE 13TH!

All 8th Grade students Chromebooks will be collected during the school day on Tuesday, June 13th. All 8th graders MUST bring the following items on 6/13:

  • Chromebook (charged)
  • Chromebook case
  • Charger


LVMS Class of 2023 Promotion Ceremony -

PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR ALL PROMOTION DETAILS

LVMS Promotion is scheduled for Wednesday, June 14th at 6:00 PM (rain date Thurs. June 15th)

  • Outdoor Promotion Ceremony is planned (tickets not necessary)
  • In the event that the rain date is utilized / the Promotion is moved indoors, each family will be provided with two (2) tickets to attend in person

  • Dress Code for Students: “Classy Casual” attire; polo/button down shirts and khaki pants/shorts for the boys, appropriate length dresses or dress shorts for the girls. Temperatures may be warm so we recommend seasonally appropriate outfits. Students will have to walk on grass - please choose shoes suitable for that purpose.

  • Guests should plan to arrive after 5:00 PM. The entrances to campus parking will be closed until 5:00 PM while we finalize preparations for the 6:00 PM event. Guests are encouraged to bring a bottle of water to the ceremony.

  • Promotion Rehearsals - in the days leading up to the Promotion, please make sure your child is present in school. Students must participate in rehearsals if they intend to participate in the Promotion Ceremony.

Attention all current 6th and 7th grade students interested in playing fall sports at LVMS. If you missed that Fall Sports meeting that was held last Friday, June 9th, please contact the specific coaches listed below:
