2nd Grade Field Trip to Cultiv8

Friday, November 3rd



2nd Grade is going on a field trip this Friday, November 3rd to Cultiv8 which is close to Pat Mayse Lake. We will leave at 8:30, and return no later than 1:30. The students will be learning about nature. They will be planting a tree,learning about animals, birds, plants, bugs, and so much more! They will be provided with a snack in the morning and lunch in the afternoon.


They need to wear pants and tennis shoes. If it is cold that day, you might want to send them with a jacket. They can also bring a disposable water bottle. ** Unfortunately, Only school staff will be able to attend on this field trip.

We are ordering class shirts for your child to wear. Each Homeroom will have a different colored shirt so we can make sure we stay together. The field trip is free, but the shirt costs $10.00. If you have not already paid for your shirt, please send the money with your child to school by this Friday. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for your support.

Tuesday- We will have a fun day of Science and Pumpkin expriments and activities.



Wednesday- Use concrete models, number lines, knowledge of place value, and properties of operations to mentally solve addition problems involving up to four two-digit numbers and two-digit subtraction problems.


Thursday- Use concrete models, number lines, knowledge of place value, and properties of operations to mentally solve addition problems involving up to four two-digit numbers and two-digit subtraction problems.


Friday- 2nd Grade Field Trip to Cultiv8. We will send information in Monday Folders.
