- ASAP is open to students in all grade levels (9-12)
- Students may be required to come if their grade falls below a certain average

- Bussing can be provided to those who normally get a bus, but we must have 24 hours advanced notice
- For those referred by a teacher, we will automatically sign up a bus rider for a bus
- For those who walk in or self-refer, we need to know 24 hours prior to the ASAP session

- Any writing assignment, project, or activity
Study Halls
The most important thing to know about study hall is that the student should take full advantage of the time to get work done. We know our students are busy, and we are always impressed by their ability to balance so much in their lives. So, if your student is taking a study hall, make sure s/he is using it!
Please know that our regular study halls are quiet learning environments to get work accomplished. If a student would like to see a teacher to get additional help and the teacher is available at that time, the student should obtain a pass to give to his/her study hall teacher.
We also have a credit-bearing study hall called EXCEL Study Hall. This study hall is meant to work with students on their executive functioning skills and keep their school life organized. EXCEL Study Hall teachers meet with students weekly to monitor grades, learn how to prioritize school work, talk about how to communicate with teachers effectively, etc. But, mainly, it is a time to get help from a teacher or to complete work like in a regular study hall. If you are interested in this opportunity for your student, please reach out to your student's counselor.
Counseling Support
Navigating high school can be challenging at times. If your student is struggling with any social-emotional or academic issue related to high school, please reach out to your student's counselor to see how s/he can help. Our Student Services website is full of information about how to help your student through high school, whether the issue requires a social-emotional check-in, career planning, college dreams, signing up for the military, or anything that we might be able to assist with. Please let us know how we can help!
