As the year comes to a close, I want you to know how appreciative and honored I am to have worked with your children. This year was one for the records and it is all because of our students:

Brag Alert:

First student to graduate with an AA
A CEC student will attend 4 in-state universities

ASU, GCU, NAU, & U of A

12 students to continue on at CGCC
First generation college bound students
Over $100,000 in scholarships and still counting
15 students taking CGCC courses
5 EVIT students

2 graduates
2 continuing next year
1 going to college

CEC students made the first ever mission and vision statements for our school
Every high school in CUSD had a student on our campus
Every senior graduated

We are so excited for what is in store for CEC for school year 23-24. This summer Chandler Early College will be

🏖️I hope that you all have an amazing summer break with your families. Ms. Ramirez and our teachers' last day is this Friday, May 26th returning on July 12th. Mrs. King's last day is June 1st, returning on July 5th. As for me, I will be taking some vacation time this summer, but will be around campus if you should have any questions.🏖️

Counseling Corner with Cassie Ramirez

We have been recommending summer school for students, but if you are wanting your child to attend summer school, please make sure to email me at ramirez.cassandra@cusd80.com. Summer school for credit recovery is at Chandler High School. Students wanting to get ahead in credits will need to do summer school through Chandler Online Academy.

Summer School Dates:

In Person

June 5-23

AM Session: 7:30-11:30

Lunch: 11:00-11:30

PM Session: 11:30-3:00 PM

Online

Session 1: May 30-June 16

Session 2: June 19-July 7

College Classes at CGCC

Please make sure to have all requirements completed before we leave for summer. It is important that you take your ED Ready test so you can be approved to start in the fall. Please see me if you have any questions or need any help.
