Good evening STEM family!
Happy Mother's Day to all STEM family members that fulfill that role for our students. The nurturer, the caregiver, the nurse, the cook, and the chauffeur. I hope you were spoiled by your kids today!
We have a full 5 Days this week, however, Friday we will be taking the entire student body to Altitude Trampoline Park (in case you haven't heard). After 90 minutes of jumping, we will return for a picnic lunch on the playground (or in the gym if it's bad weather).
We have great things planned for next year for students at Springmill STEM, including a bigger focus on inquiry-based learning, problem solving and computer science. While K-2 will still focus most energy on The Science of Reading practices, grades 3-6 will really dive into developing their critical thinking skills. Make sure you have returned your RSVP for next school year! (even if it is a "no", it will help for planning next year)
