Pirate Families,
We've had a great first week on the Pirate Ship! It's been a busy one! We welcomed the class of 2027 aboard with great Link Crew activities and hosted our new student orientation with leadership students all on Tuesday. Wednesday our crew was all smiles as all of the Pirates arrived on the ship. Today we celebrated everyone's return with a high-energy spirit rally.
As we end our first week back, I wanted to reach out and thank you. As a parent myself, I know that getting students ready to come back to school after a summer away is a challenge. Add weeknight activities, new routines, busses, etc. to the mix, and it's almost a miracle that it all happens. Thank you for trusting us with your kids. Thank you for encouraging them to show up for a fresh start and a new school year.
This year we continue to engage families in the learning happening on campus and our hope is to strengthen our partnership so that we can better support students. I'm proud of the work our staff has done to get set up for a great year and I could feel the energy from students at today's rally.
