There is no school next Monday January 15th in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

Grade 4 State House Performance

Our 4th graders did a tremendous job during their field trip and performance at the state house on Wednesday. They made great music and represented Byam well during their tour and time in Boston. Thank you to Mr. Graber and our 4th grade staff for making this field trip a memorable one.

Kindergarten Report Cards

On Wednesday, January 24, our kindergarten report cards will be available in the X2 Aspen Family Portal. In preparation for these report cards, please make sure you are able to log in to the family portal. Clink on the link below to view a tutorial on accessing the Family Portal:

Upcoming January 22nd-26th

Upcoming Week of January 22nd - Great Kindness Challenge

During the week of January 22nd-26th, Byam School will join thousands of schools across the nation in registering as a Kindness Certified School 2024 and will have be taking part in the national Great Kindness Challenge. Students will have a checklist of kind acts and will be challenged to complete as many kind actions as possible both at school and at home. We will discuss kindness during lunches and daily announcements. We will have the checklist examples in next week's family newsletter letter.

Kindergarten Registration

2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

(Approximately 15 minute appointments)

TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30 & 31, 2024

9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION CENTRAL OFFICE

230 NORTH ROAD, CHELMSFORD, MA

Visit the Chelmsford Public Schools website. Click on the “RESERVE YOUR APPOINTMENT” link to enter parent/guardian contact information and preferred appointment time within a three-hour window.

You will then be contacted to confirm a date and time for your registration appointment. Registration packets may also be dropped off at the School Administration Office, 230 North Road, Chelmsford, MA: Monday – Friday; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., if you are not able to attend these two dates.

In addition to the completed student registration packet, the required documentation to submit is listed on the CPS Student Registration page.

January Mental Health Webinars sponsored by Chelmsford Health Dept.

Reminder for those interested, Chelmsford community wellness series sponsored by the Chelmsford Health Department, for parents/caregivers and teens. This month's topic is strategies to support youth anxiety. Date Tuesday, January 16th, 2024 at the Chelmsford Public Library, 6:30-7:30 pm.
