Coach’s Message
Star’s Football Family
What a week to be a Northstar! So many little victories coming daily for our Stars. I have the privilege of seeing our kids every day working towards a greater purpose. Each day we come in as a unit with a specific message to give. Each day we leave a little better, a little more connected, and a small step closer to our goal. The effort over the last 20 or so weeks has been like none I have seen before in a group. The boys have made preparation a part of their life and investment a habit. To me, there is no higher praise for these young men than this. Our program is known as the "The Process". A moniker that I did not develop, but have since grown to respect more than I would have anticipated. "The Process" has been Alabama's and Head coach Nick Saban's motto for many years and by no means do I compare us to them but I can respect that "The Process" is not unique to anyone. As a matter of fact, we are all part of our own process and development. In our program, we explain to our players that each person will have a different process. Some will be superstars and others may be role players. Some will be captains and some will be scout players. However, regardless of our role, we will work relentlessly to improve. Our common thread is to serve a greater purpose. In Northstar football, the greater purpose is always the team.
As we exit the off-season and get ready to jump into the pre-season, I am excited to share this journey with all of you. Football is a special sport and more importantly, Northstar football is a special family. We all have a stake in this program and I hope we can all share the mission, vision, and greater purpose for our kids. The goal of this program is to be ELITE. That does not stop off the field, it is all-encompassing. In order to achieve this, it will take all of us! We are in this together!

STARS SELFLESS SERVICE
SCN FOOTBALL will be cleaning their backyard this month. In 2015, SCN FB adopted Red Gate Rd from Randall down through 31. As the snow melts and the remnants of the winter surface, SCN FB will spend an afternoon cleaning the sides of the roads of trash and debris. The date is still TBD.
Star’s football would love additional philanthropy for March. If you have any ideas or access points, please email
