Georgia Health Survey (Students and Parents)
The state of Georgia administers a set of surveys for students, parents, and staff members known as the Georgia Health Surveys. The surveys are completed by students, staff, and parents of each school throughout the state. Information for each has been provided in the links below.
The Georgia Parent Survey contains 24 questions. Parents will be able to complete the survey using their personal computers, or cell phone. We encourage all parents to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey as the survey results assist in the identification of safety, climate, and health issues that impact student achievement and help guide school prevention and intervention strategies. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The URL address for the Georgia Parent Survey is posted below.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the surveys, please feel free to contact Brad Langford.

CTAE Month
LFO's Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) department plays an integral role within our school. Students enrolled in our CTAE classes learn skills that prepare them to be "College and Career Ready." LFO's CTAE department is committed to the growth of students in all of our CTAE Pathways. The graduation rate for pathway completers has risen to 97.18%. Help us celebrate CTAE Month by registering your student for a CTAE class!
BETA Club
Fifteen LFO Beta Club members traveled to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank to serve their community this past week. By labeling food cans and packing emergency food boxes, these students prepared an equivalent of over 3,000 meals.
Important: Parking and Traffic Flow
As we prioritize the safety of our students, we need your assistance in adhering to our bus drop-off and pick-up procedures at LFO. By adhering to these procedures, you play a crucial role in enhancing the safety of our students and maintaining an organized traffic flow.
Morning Drop-off (7:00 - 8:00 AM): For the safety and efficiency of our morning routines, we are asking that all parents and guardians drop off their students at the back of the building between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
Afternoon Pick-up (After Dismissal until 4:00 PM): After school dismissal, from the end of classes until 4:00 PM, the front of the school will be designated for bus pick-up. This measure aims to create a secure environment for our students as they board their respective buses. Please avoid parking or stopping in this area during these hours to facilitate a seamless dismissal process.
