EHT Fine and Performing Arts

Our staff and students in Egg Harbor Township Schools are keeping busy creating, performing and responding to the Arts with an emphasis on Student Achievement, Community Engagement and #EHTPRIDE

Congratulations to Alder students, Hazel Dowdy((baritone) and Sorrento Esposito (bari-saxophone) who were recently accepted to the All South Jersey Junior High Band!

Kudos and thanks also to their Band Director, Mrs. Donchey, who helped prepare and sponsored them for their successful audition! #ehtpride

Our EHTHS Indoor Colorguard held a friends and family preview on Saturday and then proceeded to earn a 66.07 and 1st place in the Scholastic AA Division at the Southern Regional Mid Atlantic Indoor Network show on Sunday!

Their show, “Girl on Fire” is based on the popular TV series, The Hunger Games. Thanks to our Directors and Instructors Mr. Aponte, Ms. Gorman, Ms. Augustine & Mr. Wyckoff for helping to make

our students so successful!

In preparation for their 1st competition this weekend, the EHTHS Indoor Percussion held a friends and family preview at the conclusion of rehearsal.

Their show…”Game on” based on video games and 80’s & early 90’s pop culture looks to make for an exciting and nostalgic season.
