Staff Shout Outs
We are very appreciative of all those who have sent us some love. Thank you so much!
💙A BIG part of our Capturing Kids' Hearts (CKH) program, is the daily practice of sharing "good things", providing a way to emphasize positivity in the classroom and build relationships between students and teachers.
💙Each day, classrooms set aside time to celebrate the good things in life. Students can share a good thing or do an activity to connect with each other! We love building relational capacity with our kids and encouraging them to SEE the good, and BE the good!
💙We challenge you TODAY to TELL US SOMETHING GOOD! A form is provided below to let us know something your child has come home and shared about their teacher, school experience, or something that you have experienced yourself!
Thank you to the amazing families who have submitted a "Staff Shout-Out". Your words of encouragement are greatly appreciated. Your "shout-outs" are share with staff each week!

MIS Cell Phone Policy
The district allows students to possess personal cell phones for safety purposes, but these devices must remain off during the instructional day and testing unless approved for instructional use. Other personal devices, like laptops or tablets, require prior approval to be on campus. Unauthorized use of any device during school hours will result in confiscation, with a $15 fee for retrieval by parents. Devices not claimed will be disposed of after legal notice. The use of image-capturing devices in locker rooms or restrooms is strictly prohibited. The district is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen devices. Students must obtain approval to use devices for instructional purposes and sign a user agreement, with violations leading to loss of privileges and potential disciplinary action.

Lunch with Students
MIS invites parents and families to join their students for lunch on Wednesdays and Fridays. While space is limited, we strive to accommodate everyone. To help us out, please invite only your student to eat with you, as we cannot allow friends of your student to join.
Door Dash
Dear MIS Community,
For the safety and security of our campus and students, we want to clarify our policy on food deliveries during school hours. As part of our commitment to creating a secure environment, we do not accept Door Dash or similar food deliveries for students.
In the event that a student forgets their lunch or is without one, rest assured that we have provisions in place. Our school cafeteria offers a variety of nutritious meals, for all student. Alternatively, parents or guardians are welcome to bring lunch directly to their child.
This policy ensures the well-being of our students and helps us maintain a safe and controlled environment on campus. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines.
Thank you for your continued support in creating a secure and nurturing environment for all our students.
