Our 3rd Grade Read-A-Thon was a blast this past Friday night. Shout out to our incredible PTO and Read-A-Thon Committee for creating a night to remember!
If you have not yet seen information regarding our Spring Parent's Night Out in our PTO Section below, I highly recommend you check it out and consider buying your tickets early! Proceeds that evening are planned to go toward funding a major upgrade to our "train yard" area adjacent to the school building and next to our lower basketball courts. This area has needed a serious upgrade for many years and we are excited to chart a course to overhaul a space that will be fun for our huskies for years to come! Our Parents Night Out will include a cash bar, food from Mojo Loco, and a silent auction featuring teacher prizes including "Principal for the Day," an after school rocket launch, after school high tea in the meadow, and many more. This annual tradition is truly my favorite of the year! I'm excited to see you there!
Registration for spring conferences will be released via email at 7:00 AM on Monday, 2/26.

Hillendale Elementary School PTO’s adult only Parents Night Out event will be held at Mt. Cuba Center on March 15, 2024 from 6:30-9:30pm. Dinner, music and cash bar including beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available. Tickets are $50/person. Casual attire recommended.
This is the event of the year and LIMITED tickets are available! Due to space restrictions, once we are sold out, we cannot add more tickets.
The PTO is raising money to update the playground areas. The online silent auction will start Friday, March 8th at 10:00am and end Friday, March 15th at 9:00pm. We have gathered unique items from our community and many local businesses for you to bid on. We also have a few priceless items and experiences as well as teacher experiences. There is something for everyone! All items will be displayed at the Parents Night Out event at Mt. Cuba Center on March 15th.
Hillendale families, alumni, and friends of Hillendale are welcome to join in the fun!
Sponsorship is available this year. $250 includes 2 tickets to the Parents Night Out, logo on the auction website, signage at the event, and shout out at the auction by Principal Leight.
No babysitter? No problem! The PTO coordinated with the Unionville High School, and they are offering babysitting through their Uthon fundraiser. Uthon babysitting will be at Unionville High School from 6:00pm-10:00pm.
If you cannot make the event, you can continue to bid online from wherever you are. Feel free to share the auction link with family and friends.
