Read a Thon: 11/6 - 11/17

Get ready to ignite the love for reading in your child! Our PTA Read-A-Thon kicked off on Monday, November 6th!

We encourage you to activate your reader's account today by clicking on https://bit.ly/RVReader and following the simple instructions.

There are also fantastic prizes up for grabs in our Read-A-Thon:

Your child will earn 15% of all donations that they receive to spend in the read-a-thon prize store!
Every student that raises $50 in donations or more will receive a special prize and will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a $100 Amazon shopping spree!

The top reader will take home a mega prize basket!
The student per each grade level that raises the most donations will receive an Apple iPad or Nintendo Switch (student's choice)
The class that raises the most money will enjoy a Dippin' Dots Party!
And the ultimate reward: The top fundraiser in the school becomes Principal for a Day!

Get ready to read, raise, and win amazing prizes. Let's make this Read-A-Thon an adventure full of excitement and opportunities!

Book Fair 11/9

It's Book Fair Time! Book Fair is located inside the RVES library!

Before school hours 7:10am - 7:40am

Students are allowed to shop during their library time if they have an eWallet or cash.

After school hours TH 2:35 PM - 3 PM

Parent/Teacher Conference Week 11/13 - 11/17

Conference Week: November 13-17

Minimum day schedule: 7:45am-12:10pm ALL WEEK

Rio Vista will be conducting conferences in-person this year. Teachers will be contacting you directly to schedule a conference with you. If you prefer your parent conference be on Zoom, please let your child's teacher know.

Think Together is in session daily until 6pm

Spirit Wear Shirts

Are you interested in purchasing Rio Vista spirit wear shirts?

PTA has order forms available in the office!!

Shirts are $10 each (Cash Only)

**Once the order form is completed and placed in the PTA box, PTA will fulfill the order and send the shirt(s) home with the students.

Student Holiday Store 12/4 - 12/8

Get ready for an exciting week! From Monday, December 4, to Friday, December 8, our PTA will be hosting a festive holiday store. Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of gifts for their loved ones during their class visits. It's a cash-only store, so bring your holiday spirit and cash for some fantastic finds!

More information will be sent home with students Friday, December 1, 2023

Parent Volunteers Needed! 12/4 -12/8

Rio Vista's Holiday store is a holiday tradition, and we need your help to make it a success. We're looking for parent volunteers to keep the store stocked and open during designated times for student shopping as well as assisting with checkouts. Family Math Night 12/12
