CANYON BAND PERFORMS AT DISNEYLAND
The Canyon High School Band recently had the opportunity to perform at Disneyland and Disneyland California Adventure. The Canyon High School Orchestra performed on stage at Disney's California Adventure Park while the Canyon High School Marching Band and Regiment marched in the Disneyland Parade. Our musicians entertained Disneyland guests with their great performances and represented Canyon High School proudly!
CONGRATULATION TO OUR ROBOTICS TEAM!
Our Robotics Team C, also known as the Misfits, has QUALIFIED FOR THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS!
A MID SUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
The Canyon High School Drama Department presented Shakespeare's "A Mid Summer Night's Dream" during the week before Thanksgiving break. As usual, our students put on an outstanding performance! Memorizing lines is hard enough but memorizing lines of Shakespeare requires an amazing talent which these students obviously have. A big thank you to former Canyon student Jace Medina and his Company Face Off Media who shared the photos below.

CIF RUNNER UP
Boys Water Polo Team
Congratulations to the Canyon Boys Water Polo Team! They made it all the way to the C.I.F. Championship game before losing to a very good El Segundo team. It was a fun game and the Canyon culture was on full display as our fans out numbered their fans 4 to 1. Congratulations to all the players and coaches on a great season!
Jake Winsberg looks for an open teammate to pass to.

STATE QUALIFIER
Cross Country
Congratulations to Senior Makena Oliva who finished in the top 15 at the Cross Country C.I.F. Finals! Makena's performance qualified her for the State finals in Fresno on Saturday, November 25th. At the State Meet, she ran her personal best time for that course and finished 106th out of 908 runners. This puts her in the top 12% of the state!
STUDENT THANKFUL TREE
Prior to Thanksgiving Break, ASB students went to second period classes and gave students the opportunity to write something that they are thankful for on a leaf. ASB then took these leaves and taped them individually to windows to form a Thankful Tree. I wasn't given the opportunity to write on a leaf but if I had been, I would have written that I am thankful for our ASB Students who worked hard to create this awesome tree!
