Finals Exam Schedule (9th to 11th grade) - and Process for a Scheduling Conflict
Our Final Exams are coming up quickly. For our Freshman to Juniors, they'll be taking these exams on the following schedule:
- June 8th-- Periods 1, 2 and 4
- June 9th-- Periods 5, 6 and 8
- June 12th--Periods 3 and 7
If you have a conflict with any of the times here, you are welcome to talk with your teachers to see if you can arrange a different time to take that Final. But if you do this, there are a few steps in this process and it's important everyone follow these.
- Step 1: Get a 'Final Exam Change Request' form and fill it out with signatures BEFORE June 6th at 3:30. Requests received after this time will not be approved. You can find this form in the main office outside of the attendance office on the wall.
- Step 2: Final Exams cannot be taken before June 8th (unless you're a Senior), so any rearrangement needs to happen during the Final Exam window.
- Step 3: If you're not able to rearrange a time that works, and your schedule conflict cannot be avoided, please reach out to me (Mr. Hurd) and your teacher and we will arrange a time in the Summer to make-up the exam.

Update Synergy for the 2023-24 School Year
Beginning April 28, 2023, LOSD needs parents/guardians of all students enrolled for the 2023-24 school year to log into ParentVUE and review/update your student’s information through the Register/Verify tab. This benefits both families and schools by:
Ensuring that schools have accurate information to reach parents and other contacts in both emergency and non-emergency situations. Verification is important even if your address or contact information has not changed over the past year because the school may have incorrect information from a previous year. Did you know 86 LHS students have emergency contacts listed without phone numbers? it would be hard to reach them in an emergency. Please check and verify your students information.
Confirming parent email addresses for Google Classroom and other applications to participate in your student's learning.
Enabling distribution of key information in the district's K-12 Family Handbook.
If you have forgotten your ParentVUE password, go to the login page, click "I am a Parent," then click "Forgot Password." If you are unsure whether you have a ParentVUE account, contact your student's school. For assistance with the verification process, refer to the user guide on the LOSD website or contact your student's school.

Our seniors will come together one last time at Senior Sunset to celebrate and mark the
start of the next chapter of their lives. They will be traveling to an undisclosed location
for a fun Grad Night celebration!
Earlier in the school year, the seniors voted for an offsite Neon-out-themed event… so
offsite and neon, it is!!!
- When: June 1st from 7pm -12am
- Where: Undisclosed off-site location. *Transportation provided.
- What: Food, Activities, Desserts, Photo Booth, Prizes, Music, and a few surprises!
- Bring: Your best neon out gear and phone (bags, purses and/or backpacks will not be allowed at the event)
Although we have raised funds to cover most of the graduation party costs, there will be a minimal fee of $30* for each graduate attending. Please make sure your senior has RSVPed by signing up on the link emailed to all Senior Families. The deadline for sign-up is May 20th! We will host one or two table days in the Senior Commons so students can sign up for the bus and sit next to friends!
*After graduation, the graduates will be bused from Rolling Hills directly to the Grad Party Venue! After the Grad Party Celebration, they will be bused back to LHS.
