Good Morning E.L.M. Families,


Happy Friday! No school today, so our last day of school will be changed to Thursday, June 9th. Enjoy the snow!


Next Week at a Glance:


Mon. 1/10 -

Tues. - 1/11 - Buckle Up for Life - Parent Event at 3:00pm.

Wed. - 1/12 -

Thurs. 1/13 -

Fri. 1/14 - Half Day of School - Ski Club - After Care/PreK Payments due today.


* NO AFTER CARE available next Friday, Jan. 14th. All staff will be participating in CPR training.


Ski Families: In consideration that Ski Club was cancelled today, it will be rescheduled to Friday, Feb. 11th.


* We received an update to the COVID Protocols from DESE, as several guidelines have changed, especially in regard to quarantine time. Please disregard the protocols that were sent on Monday, as they are outdated. My apologies for any confusion.


* The Northern Berkshire EMS will host a Buckle Up for Life parent event after school on Tuesday, January 11th at 3:00pm. This event will offer a free car seat to families that attend. Please see the flyer below for more information.


Planning Ahead:


No School on Monday, January 17th in observance of Martin L. King Jr. Day.


A Note from the Nurse:


My name is Barbara Griffin. I have been subbing at Savoy since before Christmas break. I have been enjoying myself thoroughly in getting to know the students, staff, and community members. Please bear with me as I familiarize myself with the school community and routines. There is a new nurse scheduled to begin work on Tuesday January 18th, and I will be assisting her with her orientation. She could not be coming to a more welcoming environment.

In order to help myself and facilitate her as she assumes her new role, it would be helpful if copies of any 2021-2022 Flu/COVID vaccinations received by students be submitted to the nursing office.
