SoTL Award Winner Presentation
Motivating and Retaining Student Learning Gains
by Dr. Shainaz Landge
Dr. Landge, winner of the GS SoTL Award and GS Award for Teaching Excellence (2018), will present on her SoTL research dedicated to investigating student motivation and retention of learning gains. While her SoTL projects were grounded in the teaching of chemistry, she will discuss how the findings of her research are applicable across disciplines. Dr. Landge will also share insights into the SoTL research and publication process.

SoTL Commons Conference Call for Proposals
Submission deadline is September 17, 2018.
Conference dates: January 24-25, 2019 on the historic Savannah Riverfront at the Hyatt Regency, Savannah.
Hosted by the Georgia Southern University Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), the SoTL Commons is an international conference on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning with an intimate feel - listen to high quality presentations from nationally and internationally recognized speakers and join in conversations with a community of scholars from around the world.
