VanWeekly
February 1, 2018
I am thrilled to leave January behind and move on into February!!
A HUGE Thank you to everyone who has completed the communication feedback form in last weeks VanWeekly. I am working to improve the way Vanguard Communicates. Based on all the feedback, we will keep the VanWeekly going. It will be reorganized with new information at the top and repeat info will be at the bottom.
I am thrilled to see Activity Point totals on the rise! In every VanWeekly you will see lots of points opportunities for face to face and other events. We all have busy lives and can't always make live or face 2 face events, don't forget about other ways to earn Activity Points on your own. Review the Activity points information.

Switching from buttons that take up lots of space... Hopefully, it is still just as effective :-)

New Member Corner
Hello Vanguard New Members!
If you have not yet registered for the Spring course, please do so ASAP at https://itunesu.itunes.apple.com/enroll/CEK-BFL-DBL. The first module has been posted for a couple of weeks, and the first due date is this Friday. The second module covering the Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle is going live by Monday, and it will look familiar to most of you.
This evening at 7pm will be our first New Member call of the semester. I’ll go over a few items, but, most importantly, I’ll take questions. A recording will be posted to Teams by Friday. Listening (and completing a form) will earn you 5 points. I sent out a calendar invite for that as well to help you all remember.
Speaking of Teams, many of you are not regularly checking in. Important information and useful Q&As are on Teams, so I strongly encourage you all to make Teams part of your routine. You can access it through Office.com/Launchpad, but my recommendation is to download the Microsoft Teams app on to your iPad and/or phone. You’ll get push notifications when new things are posted to our New Member team, so you won’t ever miss any important information.
The new points spreadsheet for the Spring semester has been shared in Teams, so go take a look.
Finally, if you still have make-up work to complete from our first semester course, please be sure to complete it by the end of the week. If you have 45 or more points, you’re all set.
