Exciting Message from our PTA...
Dear Tustin Connect Families,
As many of you know and have been anticipating, our new PTA is up and running. Along with Principal Fineberg and our teachers, we look forward to enhancing every student’s educational experience as well as creating opportunities for our school community to connect. From facility enhancements to student programs and field trips, the sky is the limit with the many passions and talents of the Tustin Connect families. We sincerely ask that you consider sharing your talents and opinions on the direction of your PTA.
This year with the generous donation of several sponsors and the willingness of some parent volunteers, we are looking forward to assisting the High School Leadership Team in seeing their campus improvement vision come to life. We are also looking at options for enhancing the K-8 campus with additional outdoor seating, murals and a tree or two. We would like to celebrate the accomplishments of graduates of both 8th and 12th grades, similar to those offered at our traditional sister schools. We are in the beginning stages of seeing field trips and family night opportunities. There are so many hopes and wishes for these great students!
It’s an exciting time for Tustin Connect and we hope you will share your vision, talents, and passion in ways big and small to make these few fleeting school years memorable. Please feel free to reach out to Principal Fineberg, me, or any of the Executive Board members should you like to get involved, have questions, concerns, or suggestions.
Your PTA Executive Board:
Ashley Le – President
Maneesha Singh – Treasurer
Mary Flynn – Secretary & Teacher Appreciation
Tara Hirose – Auditor
Chairperson (so far and hopeful for more): Sheila Wang – Volunteers, Melissa Weiss – Ways & Means
Thank you,
Ashley Le
Tustin Connect PTA President

Audit at Tustin Connect
Each year, we have an independent audit on our program to ensure we are complying with all of the state requirements for an Independent Study School including work samples, assignment sheets, evaluations. It's a tedious process and an important one as well. We thought you'd all want to know that we received the highest approval rating! Thank you to our students, teachers, parents, and staff!

Measure N, is on the March 3 ballot. Measure N is a general obligation bond to improve school buildings inside the School Facilities Improvement District (SFID 20-1) that includes all of the oldest schools in the District. The SFID excludes all neighborhoods that are paying Mello-Roos fees that built the schools in Tustin Ranch, West Irvine, Northpark, Orchard Hills and Tustin Legacy.
Information about Bond Measure N can be found on the TUSD Website’s home page at www.tustin.k12.ca.us.
Reminder High School Students Utilize Grade Slam
Please remember to take advantage of Grade Slam for your academic courses including prior submission for all of your essays as well as support with English, Math and Science classes. It's an incredible resource. Be sure to use it! For your convenience, we've included a parent and student handout as well.
