Dr. Looney's Message
Picture Day this Monday
Uniforms Required
Dear Summerour Middle Families,
Many thanks for your continued support of the school and its policies. This letter is designed to remind parents and students of the clothing guidelines. Weekday mornings can be difficult. It can be tricky to get yourself ready for work without having to worry about how your child is getting on too. That problem is amplified if your child doesn't have a school uniform to put on each morning, as they take their time to decide what to wear. In the end, it could take away from what is important your child studies.
Uniforms are an important part of a school's identity. It reinforces who we are as a community and helps allow students to feel pride in their school. It also helps to save money.
Picture Day is this Monday, September 20th. All students are required to be in uniform.
If your student is in need of a uniform, for your convenience, we have uniforms available for purchase Monday-Friday 9:30 to 3:00 in the Media Center. Cash, credit, and debit are accepted. You are not required to purchase through the school, yet the school uniform guide must be followed.
We are very proud of our school and of our students and believe that high standards of uniform, behavior, being properly equipped and attending regularly give each and every one of our students the very best chance of learning well and achieving their very best.
