2023 - 2024 School Year
National Bullying Prevention Month is a campaign in the United States founded in 2006 by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center. The campaign is held during the month of October and unites communities nationwide to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention.
At AMMS we will participate in National Bullying Prevention Month through many different school-wide activities. We encourage all students, staff, and visitors to participate as we inspire everyone to unite for kindness and help create a world without bullying.
October 3 – SuperHERO Day – Help Everyone Respect Others – Dress as your favorite superhero, wear a superhero shirt, dress as someone you admire, or wear your AMMS Spirit Wear!
October 6 – PJ Day – Wear school appropriate PJ’s and “Put Bullying to Rest”.
October 13 – Crazy Sock/Crazy Hat Day – Wear crazy socks or a crazy hat and show that “Everyone is Different and We Embrace Those Differences”.
October 18 – UNITY DAY – Wear orange – to unite for kindness and send a visible message that no one should ever experience bullying.
October 20 – ERA Day – Wear clothing from your favorite era to show that “Bullying is a Thing of the Past at AMMS.”

PINK OUT - Volleyball
Autrey Mill has been having Volleyball Pink Outs since 2015.
For the second time we’d like to have teacher's vs students' volleyball games.
Yes, we said it — students vs teachers' games!!!
The Pink Out will be on Wednesday, October 25th — everybody please wear pink on Wednesday to raise awareness, support those fighting breast cancer and those we have lost. The teacher's vs student's volleyball games will be immediately after school in the gym. If you want to be on the court, playing against your teachers use your PBIS points to purchase raffle tickets — 1 point = 1 ticket. The more you “buy” the greater your chances of winning. The games will start immediately after school and go until ~5:15pm. After the teacher's vs student games, the Autrey Mill boys' and girls' volleyball teams will play against FAST. All are welcome to stay — parents should arrive at the school no later than 7:30 pm to pick up students.
