Graduation 2021 Update - NEW TIMES
Due to COVID protocols, Beckman High School is planning four smaller IN PERSON Commencement ceremonies on Wednesday, May 26th at 9:00 am, 12:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm at Northrup Stadium. (Please note the new times based on new guidance received!)
Seniors are currently limited to 3 guests and will only be allowed to make a reservation for one ceremony. All 3 guests must arrive with the graduate 30 minutes prior to the start of their selected ceremony. The number of guests may increase depending on COVID related numbers and the guidelines that we must adhere to. Additional information will follow as it is available.
A Google registration sign-up form will be available in April. Please plan ahead as to which ceremony the graduate and guests will be attending. Make sure guests will be able to attend the chosen time prior to submitting your response. Reservations are on a first come first served basis. Please keep in mind your preferred time may fill up so it is advised to have a 2nd choice. Once 180 students per ceremony have been filled, that particular ceremony time will close. Once you have chosen a date, no changes will be made.
Advance notice will be sent BEFORE the form is sent. The form will be sent directly to Senior mytusd emails to prevent multiple entries and so that we are able to restrict submissions to Seniors at Beckman.

Congrats to Alyssa Fukumoto - 2021 OC Artist of the Year nominee
Alyssa has been part of the Beckman Paint and Drawing pathway for 4 year. During her time here, she has shown tremendous attention to detail when creating artwork. She gives her full effort in each project, no cutting of corners. Alyssa is receptive to feedback, while also being capable of defending her artwork. She is a creative problem solver who thinks outside the box and will go above and beyond the requirements of each project every time. Alyssa continues to allow her personality to shine through her artwork by experimenting with different mediums and concepts, allowing her artwork to grow and become stronger.

Medical Certificate Program Still Going Strong!
This school year, our Beckman Medical Certificate Program has provided 21 free events/seminars for students 100% on Zoom to learn more about careers in the medical field. For the past two Saturdays 3/27 and 4/3, 162 students in "Year 2" of the program had the opportunity to get personally mentored by any 3 mentors of their choice from a list of 29 Medical Professional Mentors provided. The event was a huge success because each student had 30 minutes in a small zoom breakout group to just ask questions (personal and professional) to each of their 3 mentors.
The MCP Program wants to give a BIG THANK YOU to ALL of the Beckman Parents who volunteered their time to serve our students during these two events AND to our amazing Beckman students who continue to put in the time to learn more about different opportunities available after they graduate high school. For more information, please either visit the MCP website www.tinyurl.com/BHSMCP , follow them on Instagram @BHS_MCP or email their Faculty Advisor Mr. Chow at pchow@tustin.k12.ca.us
A First for Beckman Orchestra
First time in 17 years Beckman was able to present a concerto in its entirety, a rarity for a high school program. The concert also included Daniel Wachs from Chapman University, only the 2nd time in 17 years orchestra has been able to bring in a guest artist.
