Community Partners Grow Leaders and Serve at Scott DL
This week, Eloise Hillard, a second grader at Scott DL, joined her father, Marty Hillard, in volunteering to read to students in Mrs. Rivas’ Kindergarten class. Mr. Hillard says, “Peer learning is such an important tool and I’m glad that Young Leaders Society’s Junior Leader Reader program offers her another way to connect to her environment and community.” What a wonderful experience for all of the students!
