LW Marching Arts Update
April 10, 2023
Mark Your Calendars - Lincoln-Way Marching Band Kick Off Meeting
At the meeting, we will share details about how to sign up for the Lincoln-Way Marching Band, give a preview of this year's competitive show and answer any questions you might have.
8th Graders should bring their Lincoln-Way ID number which can be found in the paperwork they received at the Freshman Orientation in February.
We will have parents on hand starting at about 6:00pm as well as after the meeting to help 8th grade families get signed up for our student management program called Charms. If any returning families need help with Charms, please stop by the computer tables and we can help you out as well.
We would also like to get as many student possible measured for the competitive uniform on Thursday, April 13. If possible, please plan to arrive a bit early or stay a little after the meeting to get measured.
We can't wait to see you there!

Before starting high school, my son wasn't sure he wanted to make the commitment to join the LWMB. Now, it's his favorite season (and mine, too!) Joining the LWMB has given both of us the chance to make friends all across the Lincoln-Way district and to share some amazing experiences, like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!

My daughters and I have met some of the best people and have created so many wonderful memories to last a lifetime through our involvement in the LWMB. As a parent, it has been amazing to see what a positive impact the LWMB and all the people associated with LWMB have had on my kids' lives.

LWMB has given me the opportunity to share all types of experiences with my son in a program he loves. We have both made great friends, I have been able to chaperone many events and the program has provided many opportunities for me to be involved. Being part of LWMB has been a big part of Jason's high school career and we are creating many wonderful memories!

The LWMB has been a part of our lives since 2018. My daughters have made lifetime friendships and developed skills that carry on to the next phase in their lives. Personally, I too have made lifelong friendships and have enjoyed working with the students and supporting them throughout the Marching Band season.

The performances are amazing, but it’s the growth in your child as a musician and as a human that is the most rewarding part of being in the LWMB. It’s the process that pulls out the best in each kid. The shows and parades are the added bonus.
Join us for an exciting 2023 season!
