Meal provision for visiting RCMP officers in town for Sgt Holliday's celebration of life service

On Wednesday, February 8, Bashaw School is honored to host the celebration of life for Staff Sergeant Bruce Holliday.


There will be numerous RCMP officers from all over Alberta in attendance. They will arrive to the school in the afternoon, and we would like to provide them with a meal, here at the school, before the service. We don't know a firm number attending, but it could be between 30 - 100 officers.


We would like to ask for help providing the meal for them.

The following RED link is a brief form for those who are willing to help by providing a dish, to indicate what you can bring.


We will ask that all dishes are at the school no later than 2:30 p.m. to allow for set up.

Thank you so much for your willingness to help! We know they will deeply appreciate it.


Please respond to this form no later than Monday, February 6 at 4:00 p.m. so we can plan accordingly.

Thank you to our Bashaw RCMP

This week many of our students had the opportunity to meet Constable Neilson and Constable Scott as they visited the school on Thursday. This week they met with our Grade 7 - 9 students, and then popped in to many of the classrooms to say a quick hello as they toured the school.


We look forward to seeing more of Constable Neilson as we welcome him as our Resource Officer.
