It's that time of year to start the 6th annual Bundle Up Program. We are collecting coats, hats, scarves & gloves or monetary donations through the month of April. The coats will be given away on September 30th. We also work with the schools and other county agencies throughout the year to meet the need of the community.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you would like a box to help collect coats please call Christina at 317-642-9024. Money donations can be sent to the Church at the address above. Shelbyville High School has a Bundle Up box ready for donations!

Ivy Tech Shelbyville Campus - 2177 Intelliplex Drive

Juniors and Seniors can make substantial progress towards their college education by completing the Advanced Automation and Robotics Technical Certificate (AART TC). Students will take classes on Ivy Tech's campus in Shelbyville for the full college experience.

The Shelby County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship is now open and ready for your submission! Two eligible seniors in the greater Shelby County area will earn $500 each for submitting complete application packets that include a brief essay about using your education to benefit the agricultural industry. Eligible seniors will be pursuing post-secondary education relating to agriculture, environmental and consumer sciences, or food and nutrition-specific business or education. Stop by the Counseling office front desk and request the Shelby County Cattlemen's Assoc. Scholarship application. Submit print copies of the completed application and supporting documents via U.S. Post Office no later than May 19, 2023.

The Shelby/Decatur County Division of MIBOR Scholarship is now open and ready for your submission! MIBOR has four scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to award eligible seniors in Shelby and Decatur counties on the basis of merit and need. The application is due via Google Form on Friday, April 28, 2023. Don't delay!

The Shelbyville Kiwanis Club Scholarship is now open and ready for your submission! One eligible senior with plans to attend an Indiana college or university will earn $750 for submitting a completed application packet that includes a brief essay, two letters of recommendation, a letter of acceptance, and an official transcript. Recipients are selected based on citizenship, character, and financial need. Stop by the Counseling office front desk and request the Shelbyville Kiwanis Club Scholarship application. Mail your completed application and supporting documents on or before Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Attention all Seniors who are St. Joseph or St. Vincent parishioners: the Knights of Columbus and Daughters of Isabella will award a one-time $1,500 scholarship to one eligible senior to be used for post-secondary education at an accredited school or college. Applications are available in the Counseling office and due April 28, 2023.

Class of 2023: Are you a former St. Joe student? The St. Joseph Catholic School PTO Scholarship is open for submissions for former students who attended for a minimum of five years. The application is due Friday, April 28 and one senior will be awarded $1,000 to use towards post-secondary education plans. Please request the scholarship application from Ms. Johnson in the Counseling office today!

Seniors: The 2023 Jansen's Heating & Air scholarship is open to any graduating senior who is pursuing a career in a specialized industrial trade. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or trade school for the upcoming fall semester. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 28, 2023. Request the application in the Counseling office today!

SHS will be offering after school tutoring on Wednesdays and Thursdays. After School tutoring will begin on Wednesday, September 7th in the Media Center. Sign up sheets will be readily available in students' homerooms or by downloading the pdf below. Transportation will be provided if students return the sign in sheet by Tuesday, September 6th or 24 hours before attending tutoring sessions. If you would like to sign your student up, fill out the linked form and return it to Mrs. Higgins in the front office.

Each month, we will be accepting nominations from students, parents, community members, and staff for the teacher/staff member of the month. Any certified staff member is eligible for nomination. Please use this form to help honor those that you feel are worthy of this celebration!

Over the past two years, lunches were free; however, this school year families will be

expected to pay for student lunches once again. Student lunch prices are outlined below. Breakfast will continue to be free for all students. We encourage all parents and guardians to fill out the free and reduced lunch form to ensure that if you qualify, you will receive lunch and/or textbook/school fee assistance.
