Registration for the 2022-2023 school year is open for our current families. All of our families should have received an email from TADS notifying them of the pending enrollment process. Families can complete re-enrollment forms through their TADS account online at http://mytads.com/a/fatherandrewwhiteschool. In order to save your spot we ask that you reenroll no later than tomorrow, March 2nd. Please note: We will open registration to the general public on March 7th.

The easiest way to complete the process is to click on the link that will be included in your email.

We will be having a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Drive Thru Dinner today, Tuesday, March 1st from 4-7pm! Be sure to grab our delicious dinner!

On Friday March 4th, students will have a $2 Tag Day to support our Auction. Please adhere to the non-uniform guidelines in our Parent/Student Handbook.

On that day, our students will have a special Musical Morning Prayers! Families can tune into our Facebook page at 8:10am to get a peek at what's happening at FAW. Featured students are those in Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, Chorus and Bucket Drumming. Performances will be posted on the website later this week. You can always check in at www.fatherandrewwhite.org to check out Friday's activities, along with other events and happenings here at school!

We will end the day with a Pep Rally! Go Crusaders!

Recently our Epson Brightlink 696Ui interactive projector stopped working properly. It is in need of repair and we are hoping some of our amazing parents might have the knowledge (or desire to work on a project!) to help get it back in working order. We are not certain but believe the ballast may need to be replaced. Please contact Mrs. Greer at fawscomputer@fatherandrewwhite.org to let her know you are interested in helping take on this project or are able to point us in the direction of someone who can. Volunteer hours will be awarded!!!

Father Andrew White School has an Annual Giving Campaign, where we reach out to families, alumni, and local parishioners to raise funds for the school. This year, we are raising funds to "Pave the Way for Kids to Play" as we transition the rear parking lot into an enjoyable recess area for our students. A letter was mailed to your home that provides details of this project. Thank you for prayerfully considering donating to this important fund that directly benefits our children.

This quarter, some of our middle school students are operating a school store. They are learning how to take inventory, markup items for profit, and manage the ins and outs of a business. The school store will be open every Wednesday during their elective class time. Items cost anywhere from 25 cents to $8. Please encourage your children to visit the school store! Kindly send in an envelope with money, marked with your child’s name and “School Store” so the middle schoolers know who to expect this week.

Do you have an announcement you’d like to put in our weekly bulletin? Or perhaps you went to a FAW event and you’d like to share some information. We have created an email where you can send pictures, blurbs, etc. This will help us get new items in our bulletin, on our lobby TV, and on our website. Be sure to read this month’s Partners in Faith newsletter to find ideas to use at home to build a Christ-centered family life. It is our hope that your knowledge about Catholicism will grow and that you will find valuable tips that are useful. We are proud to be your partners in faith!

Each month, our whole school focuses on the same virtue as we hope to grow closer to Jesus by imitating His life and virtues. Students and families also learn more about the saints who exemplify these good habits. This month we are learning about the virtue of mercy. Please join FAW during the month of March by modeling how you care for those who suffer.

The Southern Maryland Roots Youth Group invites all school age youth to their next Youth Sunday! Please come enjoy fellowship, pizza, and a priest presentation: Holy Angels School/Youth Room, March 6th, 12 noon - 2pm.

St. Aloysius Youth Group will have their next Middle School/High School Game Night Friday, March 4th from 7-8:30 in the Church Hall. Join us!

St. Mary's County has baseball for middle schoolers and they allow FAW students to play on the Catholic School team. This isn't school sponsored and there is no cost to the schools. Please see the flyer for more details.

God has blessed each of us with various talents. Are you able to share yours with Father Andrew White School?
