December Hot Lunch Orders
TIME TO ORDER DECEMBER HOT LUNCH
The December Hot Lunch Menu is now available.
The last day to order is November 27th.
Use the link https://cullmanchristian.gradelinklunch.com/ .
Make sure you select the dot beside the menu item and then press "add lunch." After all lunches are added, BEFORE YOU PRESS SUBMIT, please check and make sure that it is showing the day and the price of $6.00 for EACH DAY. If there is a day that does not show the date and the price, then it will not process correctly.
ARCHERY REGISTRATION
We have had several students and parents asking for more archery information. Registration is
open until December 5th.
The Archery fee is $125.00.
Archery Fee includes:
- Team shirt
- 8 tournaments
- Help with the purchase of practice equipment
Tournaments start in January. The first tournament will be on Friday, Jan. 5th . We plan to do at least 2 tournaments a month and most of those will be on Saturdays. The season runs from January to April.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS were emailed to parents on Friday that included information about bows and practice times. Please be sure to check your email.
Highlights from the Week
PHOTOGRAPHY STUDENTS AT THE HUNTSVILLE MUSEUM
Did you know that museums did not always recognize photography as art? They certainly do now!
Mrs. Ayers' photography students had the chance to visit a special photography exhibit this week at the Huntsville Museum of Art. While there, students participated in a guided tour and took some time to create some projects of their own.
LET'S PRETEND HOSPITAL
On Wednesday our 1st grade students in Mrs. Rice and Miss Yearwood's classes got to have some fun while conquering some common fears at the Wallace State Community College "Let's Pretend Hospital."
At the event students got to see and experience medical environments in a fun way with games and toys. Thank you WSCC Nursing students for hosting this wonderful event!
Feed the Need Spins & Prizes
Reid enjoyed his Feed the Need prize and invited Emmitt to have lunch in Mrs. Driver and Ms. Candase's office. They even took a few practice spins for November 28th.
FCA Prayer Breakfast
Upper school athletes enjoyed an early morning breakfast, prayer, and message at the annual FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Iron Bowl Prayer Breakfast.
Prop Design
Drama students have been working hard on prop designs for the upcoming production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
THANKSGIVING ART
Mrs. Griffin's art classes have been working on their "Turkeys in Disguise" pieces, as well as some other fun fall projects.
Students LOVE going to art class!
EARTH SCIENCE PROJECTS
8th grade Earth Science students have been studying the layers of the planet.
These student-produced models of the interior of the earth are AMAZING!

Costume Cut-Ups
Piper, Brooklyn, Vella, and Katelee to a minute to pose in their Christmas play costumes.
Middle School Math Team
7th and 8th grade students have begun math team practices. We are so excited for their upcoming tournaments!
Basketball Wins
The varsity teams came home with wins against our across-town rival, St. Bernard.
In the varsity girls' game there was a player injury. We are pleased to report that the St. Bernard player is doing well. Her coach visited our team the next day to give them an update. We were thankful to hear it and thankful for him taking the time to check on us and our player too.

Feed the Need Volunteers
We are just days away from the packing party. To help things move as smoothly as possible, we need a few volunteers. We are required to work within the current state and FDA health guidelines so volunteers must sign up with me ahead of time.

UNA Visitor
Juniors and Seniors had a visit from an admissions representative the University of North Alabama. They learned more about student activities on campus, programs of study, and scholarship opportunities.
God Can Do Anything

Mrs. Candace brought a great message in chapel with PreK-1st grade students about how to have an attitude of gratitude and give thanks in ALL things!
Mr. Yearwood's Knee
Mr. Yearwood is making steady progress with his knee, but had a little set back this week. Thank you so much for all the prayers and messages!
