I’m Delaney DeRuiter, the Cedar Park High School Robotics Project Manager. I’m reaching out today on behalf of my team to ask for your help in inviting your school’s families to our big Cedar Park community event, Robo Rodeo held Sunday February 26, 5PM-7PM in the CPHS Cafeteria.

CPHS Robotics is holding this family-friendly event to bring our community together to promote STEM to the next generation of innovators! There will be games, food, a chili cook-off contest, tours of our Robot Room, a demonstration of our robots, and other exciting activities.

This spring, Leander ISD will consider/adopt new instructional resources for six courses: American Sign Language I-IV, Chinese I-IV, AP US History, AP Calculus AB and BC, African-American Studies, & Mexican-American Studies. Members of our LISD community have opportunities and are encouraged to provide feedback on these resources from January 17 - February 17 through in-person viewing at Central Office and Cedar Park High School or by viewing the materials virtually on the district website. We will host three Q&A Zoom meetings with district curriculum experts that allow community members to explore the options, ask questions and provide feedback. For questions about the instructional materials selection process, please reach out to Matt Bentz, Chief Academic Officer.

Food Program @ Mason

Mason has a food program for families! For interested families, weekend meal kits are sent home each Friday with students in bags the student can put in their backpacks. In addition, at-school snacks may also be provided. If you believe your student/family would benefit from the program, please fill out the form here. You can select weekend meal kits, snacks, or both. Please complete just one form for the family if you have multiple students at Mason, but please list all of their names on the form. Attendance Reminders

Our Official Attendance Time is 8:15. Please note, this is an adjustment in time from previous years.

Absences should be reported in one of two ways:

1) Attendance email: mason.leanderisd.org / campus info tab / attendance / report an absence

2) Send a note (or doctor's note) when your student returns.

While we appreciate a phone call notification, a hard copy is still required to properly code the attendance record.

*School Dismissal Manager is used for transportation purposes only and is not the acceptable way to report an absence.

Home Access Center

Register for a HAC account to monitor grades, attendance, assignments. Also used to retrieve report cards and update information concerning your student.
