I am Susan Ruiz, your Family Liaison. My role is to support YOUR FAMILY so that you can best support your child(ren) in his/her education. My hours this year will be Wed-Fri from 10:00 am - 2:30 pm. Feel free to stop by or email me for an appointment. I look forward to serving you!!

I will use this monthly newsletter to share opportunities for you and your family both within our school district and within our Loudoun County community.

The McKinney-Vento program supports students experiencing homelessness by providing educational stability. If your student lacks a fixed, adequate, or regular nighttime residence, they may qualify for McKinney-Vento services. This includes families who are sharing living space with others. This program requires families to RE-APPLY each school year. To apply for this program, complete the online application for the 2023/24 school year.

The LCPS Mobile Health Clinic can help ensure your child has the healthcare support they need to enroll in school! The Mobile Health Clinic provides LCPS students access to school physicals and wellness checks required for school enrollment.

LHR is a food pantry that provides emergency food and grocery supplies. During your visit, we supply enough food to prepare at least three meals a day for three days for any size family. If necessary, you may receive this service up to once per week.
