Skyward
PHMEF Parade Bittersweet Representation
Below are the details of the homecoming parade. The cap is 40 students per school. In an effort to be fair, I will take the first 40 student names that are emailed to me at smasterson@phm.k12.in.us . I will then respond to you letting you know if you were one of the first 40 to sign up or if the list is full. If you are one of the first 40, please follow the directions in the information below on parade day. If you are a parent and would like to walk the route as well, you are welcome to do so. Please consider the beach theme when dressing for the parade. If your child would like to hand out candy, please have the child bring the candy to the parade for distribution (nothing with nuts please).
If you are not in the first forty responders, please know you can still be a parade spectator.
Thank you!

Parents will be able to drop off behind SMS beginning at 4:45 pm. They cannot arrive earlier. Otherwise they will be stuck in SMS traffic. The latest a student may arrive and still be in the parade is 5:10 pm. Spectators are encouraged to arrive by 5 pm. Candy CANNOT be thrown during the parade. You may hand
candy to spectators but ABSOLUTELY NO THROWING of candy.
Drop Off:
Wear comfortable shoes to walk in the parade. The drop off point (yellow dot on map) is behind SMS. You should drop off by entering via Fillmore Street and then proceed to leave out
Bittersweet (follow the arrows). Participants will be directed to their school’s sign in the grass. If you do NOT arrive by 5:10 pm you may not be able to be in the parade.
Pick Up:
Parents can pick up their students in front of door D (green line on map below). You should pick up your child on foot and we invite you to stay for the fun zone, food trucks, and football game.
