Superintendent Report

The Superintendent shared information about events and activities around the District and celebrated student and staff achievements. The Governing Board meeting also featured an update on the status of construction projects, a legislative update and a review of the Arizona Department of Education report on Special Education programs and costs.

Nash Elementary

Students from Nash Elementary School led the Pledge of Allegiance and performed a Folklorico dance.

Along with celebrating Nash Elementary's performance art with the Folklorico performance, student artwork was on display.

The Governing Board recognized winners of the District Spelling Bee.

JA Awards

Prince Elementary teacher Kelsey Galvin, along with the school, were recognized for their work with Junior Achievement.

Rio Vista's global award for Best Use of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) in the Classroom was recognized.

Preschools are Registering for 2023-2024

Our preschools are registering students for next school year. If you know anyone who may be interested in our top-quality preschools, please share this information!


All of our preschool programs are DHS licensed, accept DES and most offer scholarships to those who qualify. All Amphi preschools offer certified teaching staff, free meals, low student-teacher ratios and new and renovated facilities. Our preschools are open to Amphi employees and community members.
