Adventure Dash Update!

As of April 14th, our SGE students and families have raised $35,161 for our PTO!!! Outstanding job! The kids ran hard and had loads of fun on Dash Day! Thank you all for your support! Be sure to check out SGE's Facebook page and our PTO's Facebook page for pictures of Dash Day!

It's Pre-K and Kindergarten Round Up Time!

Rounding up all incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students for the 2023-2024 school year! Registration will be open April 10th-April 28th! Check the flyer below for more information!

Field Trip Proceudres

Field Trip season is among us! Be sure you know the procedures in place!

Parents Attending the Trip

Parents planning to attend must sign-in at the office on the morning of the field trip. Please be ready to show your ID. A badge will be given to parents to be worn while on the trip.

Signing Students Out from the Trip

Parents who plan to sign their child out from the trip must notify the office when signing-in that morning. This information will be printed on the parent’s badge and will indicate to teachers that the child is cleared to leave with that adult. Teachers are not permitted to allow students to leave from the field trip with adults who do not have this information on their badge.

As an initiative of the Strategic Planning Process, Burnet CISD is excited to unveil Staff Shout Outs! Have you experienced great customer service from a Burnet CISD employee? Has a Burnet CISD co-worker gone the extra mile in supporting you in some way? If so, we want to hear about it! A Shout Out is a special recognition that acknowledges a District staff member who has demonstrated a special effort, an outstanding job, caring customer service, a project of high-quality workmanship, a team mentality, and/or is helping students CRAFT the FUTURE. Average Daily Attendance for SGE

ADA stands for Average Daily Attendance. Average Daily Attendance is defined as the total days of student attendance divided by the total days of instruction. Check out SGE's ADA trends in the chart above.

We're going to "STRIVE FOR 95!" while also knowing that "98 IS Great!" We recognize that illnesses and events take place that necesitate absences, however, we do encourage every student to be in school every day he/she is able. Let's work for 98%!
