On behalf of Mrs. Earp and the entire PCA staff, I wish you and your family a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving! I hope you enjoy the time with your families. We are so grateful for your continued support.

We would like to thank all the families who donated funds for the Thanksgiving teacher luncheon last week! Thank you to HSA for coordinating, setting up, and cleaning up after the luncheon! Lunch was delicious and we are so grateful!

We are sad to announce that Mrs. Fitzsimmons, our School Counselor, will be relocating up north and will no longer be working at PCA. We wish her all the best in her new adventures, and thank her for all she has done for us in just the short time she was here. Please pray for her and her family! Her last day at PCA will be Friday, December 2nd.

We have our Children's Mass every Tuesday at 9:40 AM in the school gymnasium. All parents are welcome to attend.

For your information, we will not have Mass tomorrow, November 22nd, since Fr. Eric is not available. Students will still go to the gym during Mass time to pray the Rosary together. Parents are welcome to come and join the Rosary.

Also, the Children's Mass scheduled for Tuesday, December 6th, will be on Thursday, December 8th instead since it is the feast of the Immaculate Conception. Please note: Tuesday will be a Thursday schedule at PCA, and Thursday will be a Tuesday schedule.

Our Christmas program for grades PK-5 will take place on December 15th at 5:00 PM at OLSS church. More information to follow! This is a mandatory event for grades PK-5.

Students in grades 6-8 will take their midterm exams on December 14th, 15th, and 19th. Make-up exams will be on December 20th.

NOTE: We will not have exams on the 16th since some of our Middle School students will be participating in the Christmas program as readers or in the choir.

Need something to do with those squirmy younger siblings after drop off? Come join the OLSS Playgroup at the park and meet other families from the parish!

The Virtue of the Month for November is Stewardship. Stewardship is returning to God the first fruits of your time, talent, and treasure.

The Saints of the Month are:

The Diocese of St. Augustine has adopted a new mandatory safe environment program called the Circle of Grace. Depending on the grade level there are 1-4 lessons included in this program, which will be taught during your child's Religion classes within the next few weeks. Please read the attached information below for more details about the program.

Christmas Break for students

If your child tests positive for COVID, please notify me immediately via email (ddossantos@pcapvb.org).

Anyone who tests positive must stay at home for 5 full days before returning to school on Day 6, provided that there has been no fever for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicines and that other symptoms are improving. (Please note that the first day of symptoms is considered Day 0.)

Siblings of positive cases may continue coming to school as long as they are not exhibiting ANY symptoms. Please use good judgment when sending siblings to school based on the amount of exposure they have had with the positive sibling.

Youth Ministry: Please be sure to register your youth using the link below so you can be added onto our weekly email list. Middle school events will occur in the coming months as we accumulate more adult volunteers but please still register your youth so you can be updated about possible events occurring in the ministry, at the parish or in the diocese!
