Greetings AOC Families,

I hope that you had a restful weekend! We have only two weeks until our winter break. COC exams begin next week. Here is the AOC Final Exams schedule for the week of 12/12. Our school is open during final exams. If students need a place to work, our computer lab is open every day. During AOC final exams week, students only have to attend their assigned final exam time.

• December 5th-9th- COC Final Exams
• December 10th- Last day of the COC semester
• December 12th-16th- AOC Final Exams, students only attend final exams.
• December 15th, Thursday- Last day of the semester and finals
• December 16th, Friday- Teacher work day
• December 16th- January 6th- Winter Break
• January 9th- Classes Resume for AOC classes
• January 3rd- First day of COC winter session (for upper grades only)
• January 16th- Martin Luther King holiday, no school
• February 4th- Last day of COC winter term
• February 6th- First day of COC spring term (all students)

Click here to order a free lunch for your student through the Hart District. Free lunches are available to all students in the Hart District. Orders must be placed before 8:00am.

And, a special thank you to Mr. Anthony Acosta for generously donating to Class Cup and our Hot Cocoa Bar for students during final exams week. We are so appreciative of your generosity! All snacks and items were given to our students from Mr. Acosta and his husband.

AOC Spring 2023 Schedules: Spring 2023 class schedules will be available on Infinite Campus on December 5th. Students can check their COC Class schedule on MyCanyons now.

The COC Music Department presents their Studio Jazz Ensemble on 12/8 at 7pm.

Located on the campus of College of the Canyons, AOC is proud to be the middle college high school in the William S. Hart Union High School District serving students 9th-12th grades in the Santa Clarita Valley. Students have the opportunity to earn between 24 and 44 transferable college units, prior to receiving their high school diplomas. Upon graduation, the majority of Academy students pursue their post high school education by continuing at COC and completing their college transfer requirements in only one year after high school. Other AOC students go directly into a four-year university, bringing their community college units with them and placing themselves well into their freshman and sophomore years at the college level. While attending AOC as a high school student, community college tuition is waived for established California residents.
