Principal's Message

High Five Friday was a wonderful way to end the week. We hope that your children enjoyed high fiving the Hersey football players and cheerleaders! The video below shows what it is like to walk through the line!

This coming week we will have our hard lockdown drill with Officer Veenstra. We will make an announcement on the intercom letting all staff and students know it is a drill. Often a few other officers join us so if you see police cars at the school you will know why.

Also next week we will be taking the time to talk about Food Allergies in the lunchroom. Please see the links below to access information that will be shared with our students.

Parent Teacher Conferences

This year, fall Parent Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, October 24th and Friday, October 25th. More information regarding sign-ups will be coming soon. Our staff looks forward to meeting with all of you!

Health Forms

Physical exam and vision forms are needed for all students new to Olive. Please contact our nurse Mrs. Henrique for more information.

Drop Off Reminders

Students are not allowed to exit vehicles on Olive Street. Please pull into our drop off zone.

If your child arrives at school at 9:05 or later (12:50 or later for PM kindergarten), the individual dropping them off needs to come into the school office to sign them in. This practice is in place at all D25 schools. Thank you for your support!

Science Club

Science Club is back with new projects and old favorites! It will meet on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 3:45pm to 4:45pm in the “window” hallway outside the LMC.
