Halloween at DeSales

We will celebrate Halloween in school on Friday, October 29th. All students may dress down in their Halloween Costumes. Please remember no Halloween masks/covered faces or weapons.


To ensure student safety -all treats should be store bought/wrapped and only room parents will be permitted to assist with classroom parties. If you have questions about your child's classroom party, please reach out to your room parent/classroom teacher.

All Saints Day Mass

Father Jim Bastian will help us celebrate Holy Mass on Monday, November 1st at 9:40am in the DeSales gym. Guests are welcome for Mass and should wear masks/face coverings while in school.

Veterans Day

There will be no school on Thursday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Friday, November 19th. Students in PK will be dismissed at 10:30am on this day and students in grades K-8 will be dismissed at 10:50am.


More details on how to sign up for a conference time with your child's teacher will be coming soon!

Picture Retakes

Lifetouch will be at DeSales on Monday, November 15th for Picture Retakes. If you wish to have your child's photo retaken, please return their picture package on that day.

DeSales Basketball Update

Preparations are underway for the winter basketball season. Boys and girls in grades 4-8 are eligible to play. Volunteer coaches are needed for both boys and girls’ teams in grades 4, 5, and 6. Coaches must be Virtus trained. If you are interested in coaching one of these teams, please email Mrs. Hornquist at hornquistc@desalescatholicschool.org.

November HSA Meeting

The next HSA meeting will be held in the DeSales Cafeteria on Wednesday, November 10th at 6:30pm. All parents and caregivers are encouraged and invited to attend. Just for attending your student will earn a free dress down day and an entry to win a prize!
