Mid-Autumn Festival - Thank You to everyone who joined together to admire the moon and express gratitude for friends, family, and community. We especially thank the event planners David Kwan and Hiep Ma for their extraordinary efforts in producing the event. We enjoyed getting together to play games and enjoy performances. We were grateful to invite the Kennedy Middle School students from RWCMI who started their MI journey as the inaugural class at John Gill back to the new campus to recognize them as middle schoolers.
San Francisco’s Lion Dance Me dazzled us with their performance.
We were delighted in watching our Orion Elementary students perform the student skits that they had practiced all summer. We want to express appreciation for Sheil Kee and Xiaolan Seeberger for their abundance of donated time and effort to organize the skits and rehearse for 8 weeks during the summer to support students in retaining their Mandarin skills. This is especially helpful for families that don’t have exposure to Mandarin after the public school day is over. We can’t thank you enough for donating your time to support students!
So sorry about the Bun Bao! There is a lot of learning we took away. Please feel welcome to add to our learning by giving feedback to the PTO and MI event planning team! Event Feedback Survey The PTO raised $6, 453 on Friday to support school-wide enrichment. Thank you so much to everyone who donated to raise money to support our children!
