Opportunity for Mental Health Care Reimbursement
In an effort to reduce barriers to mental health services, Oakland Community Health Network can reimburse families up to $2000 per household to cover co-pays and deductibles through a qualified mental health professional, such as a therapist or psychiatrist. REPEATS AND REMINDERS
MMS Book Fair
Book Fair
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires students on their journey to becoming lifelong readers - and every purchase benefits our school.
The big event will take place from Monday, December 4th to Friday, December 8th in the Library Gallery.
Say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Book Fair online. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Every online purchase will also benefit our school.
Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/millenniummiddleschool1
If you are available to volunteer at the Book Fair, we would LOVE your help! Here is the link to sign up: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0548AEA72BA20-46131917-mmsbook

Family Fun Night!
On Tuesday, December 5th from 5:30-7:30 PM, MMS will host the first ever Family Fun Night!
Many of our clubs and groups will host different activities and games as a way to fundraise for their organization. The MMS Book Fair will take place during the event and you will be able to buy your family a pizza dinner to support PTO as well. Your entire family is invited for the fun!
We are looking for volunteers to help run some of the stations. If you are willing and available, please sign up to volunteer. Click here for Sign Up.
